Andre Watts 安德烈．瓦茲， 1946年6月20日德國出生的美國鋼琴演奏
家。 父親是非洲裔美國人的士官，母親是匈牙利鋼琴演奏家，四歲開始學
習小提琴， 六歲決定學習鋼琴 ，九歲在費城音樂會上，與40位有天賦的
年輕人比賽脫穎而出。 2002年12月，他的腦子表面的一條靜脈爆裂了，
在音樂會之前，瓦特作了緊急手術。在他的五十年代之内，瓦特依然是世
界上的最受歡迎的鋼琴演奏家之一。
