Katherine Jenkins  凱薩琳．詹金斯 1980年出生威爾士。7歲時

凱薩琳‧詹金斯已愛上古典樂，學習彈奏鋼琴和參加學校的歌詠

團，憑著出色的歌藝及音樂造詣加入教堂的唱詩班，並3度贏

得“年度最佳唱詩班女童”冠軍。

17歲時，在皇家音樂學院學習了意大利語、德語、法語和俄語同

時畢業後並獲得榮譽學位。一度成為了2000年威爾士形像大使，

然而她決定更加專注於她的歌唱事業。靠其姣好外貌及可古典可

流行的醇美嗓音走紅世界。
