Peter Schmidl 彼得．施密德 1941年生於捷克。就讀維也納音樂

學院，自1967年以來在維也納音樂學院擔任教授， 是維也納愛樂

的單簧管首席，他的音色散發絲絨般的高雅光澤，技巧無懈可擊，

富有感染力的音樂性，渾然天成。
